Proposed, seconded, carried, and on the record.

Seconded runs AGMs, general meetings and board meetings for South African bodies corporate, companies and trusts. It applies the notice, proxy, quorum and voting rules for your kind of meeting, and keeps a record that holds up when someone checks it.

Your first meeting is on us. After that, a 25-member meeting costs R 199.

An example certificate: special resolution 3 of the Blue Ridge Body Corporate AGM, carried by 78.4% of votes by value and 76.2% by number, with quorum met.

The rules come from the kind of meeting, not from whoever is chairing it.

Choose the type of meeting once. The platform then refuses what the law or your governing documents do not allow — a vote without quorum, a proxy without its signed form, a resolution before notice has run.

Bodies corporate and managing agents
Participation-quota voting, quorum by value, arrears excluded on ordinary resolutions but counted on special ones, and the two-member limit on proxies. One login runs every scheme you manage.
Companies and NPCs
Notice periods under section 62 with short-notice waivers, a fixed record date before any vote opens, written proxies held against the appointment, and postponement when quorum fails under section 64.
Company boards
Board meetings under section 73 and written resolutions under section 74, with quorum by headcount, the chair's casting vote and every resolution minuted against the directors present.
Trusts
Trustees act only with a letter of authority on file, and every decision is minuted against the trustees present.
Homeowners associations
Your constitution's quorum and voting rules, with proxies, attendance and results handled the same way as a company meeting.

How a meeting runs

  1. Load the register

Import members and their weights from a spreadsheet, or add them one by one.

  2. Give notice

Statutory deadlines are worked out from the meeting date; members get a personal link.

  3. Collect proxies

Members appoint proxies in the portal; holders accept, and limits are enforced.

  4. Run the meeting

Sign members in, check quorum live, open each vote and let members vote from their phones.

  5. Keep the record

Certified results, minutes and the attendance register, signed off and distributed.

Members need no training: they sign up once from their personal link, then confirm attendance and vote on a phone. Every step is in the meeting's audit log.

Pay per meeting, not per seat

Buy credits and spend them when a meeting opens its first vote. Bigger registers use more credits. Drafts and cancelled meetings cost nothing.
